I reached out to TDH near the end of March for a quote. After getting approval from my HOA, I signed the quote & paid *in full* on April 16th. I was told we were scheduled for June 3rd, totally fine. I was then told that due to the weather it would have to be pushed out to June 10th. Again, totally fine, I understand the weather can cause delays. Unfortunately, I was going to be out of town that day, so I asked if we could move it to the 12th so I was able to be home & make sure everything went smoothly & they confirmed that I was on the schedule for the 12th. The person I spoke to the most ended up getting another job and left near the end of May, but I wasn’t concerned because I was given a heads up that my main POC would be changing and I had also spoken to Marcus (the owner) when we got the initial quote as he had walked the property with us. Fast forward to June 11th and I haven’t heard from anyone. We get home from vacation and the 811 guys hadn’t come out to identify the lines for where they would dig or anything which I was told TDH would take care of for us prior to them starting. I had to reach out to my previous POC in order to get Marcus’ information and when I finally got ahold of him, he said they wouldn’t be doing our project the next day as scheduled. If I hadn’t had reached out, I wouldn’t have known anything until the next day when no one would have shown up. I took a day off of work in order to be present. I was told by Marcus on the phone that he would get a new date for me by the end of the day on the 11th. Even after asking for an update, he didn’t respond until the next day saying he was waiting on a contractor. I then got a response another 24 hours later saying the contractor was going to come out to look at the property & “see when he could do it” and that it would probably be a week or more. At this point we have already done a full walk through, they’ve taken measurements, we provided a to-scale drawing of the work that my husband (engineer) put together for planning purposes, been given a quote, paid for the services, been rescheduled three times, and now I’m being told someone has to come look at just to be given a new date??? No thank you. I’ve now asked Marcus for a refund and he has ignored all of my texts and phone calls. Come to find out, there are a lot of people he owes money to. This is bad business and the positive reviews they’ve gotten were heavily based on other people who previously worked for him. I would not recommend Triangle Drainage & Hardscapes to anyone who values good business & honest communication.
